We quickly learned that by getting a Casita we joined a subculture of fiberglass travel trailer owners who affectionately refer to their rigs as eggs. These eggs are, like boats, named. Groups keep records of egg names, many of which are variations of “egg.” I’ve seen Egg-Stream, VoyEgger, and CramALot. We struggled with an original name that suited us. We’re Southerners, our Casita is tiny yet fun…sort of like a pixie. Ta da! Dixie Pixie.
